Just a few more days! Ahhh!
Til then, here's a look at what my little helpers will be carrying down the aisle.
Mollie, my sweet flower girl, will carry this:
It's a basket made by a local couple who sells their beautiful creations every Saturday morning at the Fayetteville Farmer's Market. If you know me, you know that means it comes from a place VERY close to my heart. I had Mr. Gibson make me a small version of their classic basket, then embellished it a bit. It'll be filled with bunches of baby's breath for Mollie to hand out to lucky ladies in the audience.
Luke, my fearless ringbearer, will carry this:
It's the first Bible my Momma had - given to her as an infant. I wanted something different from a pillow for the "rings" (fake or not) to rest on during their trip down the aisle. A Bible seemed to make a firm foundation for the symbol these rings represent. I love that this one has a heritage, too. I wrapped it in lace & twine, to keep it on theme, but otherwise, it was perfect as it was.
Swing back by tomorrow for a look at my "somethings."
